The Deerfield boys JV tennis team (1-3) hosted Northfield Mount Herman on April 27th, looking for their first win of the year. Despite fierce winds and an unseasonably cold day, the team played well and won the match 8-1. The six singles matches, played as a single, 8-game pro set, were played first and Deerfield were able to clinch the overall match by winning 5 of 6.

Alex Ayres ’24 returned to action after being out for a few weeks with an injury and teamed with Willett to lead the #1 singles team to a sweep of the doubles matches.
