Though the Big Green found moments of strong play in the contest against Williston, their performance, on the whole, was somewhat inconsistent. The Deerfield draw team performed well in gaining possessions off the circle and the defensive unit offered a solid effort, but transitional ball movement through the midfield lacked consistency. Though less crisp in connections that desired, the Big Green pulled out a win through their hustle and persistence. The Captains awarded the All Heart Player of the game to Morgan Giardina for her excellent play in goal.
