Andover jumped out to an early lead in Wednesday’s game on the Rowland Turf. Deerfield initially struggled to gain possession off the draw and found themselves primarily in the defensive zone for most of the 1st half. The Big Green mounted a much stronger second half and offensively produced a greater number of shots on goal. Though ultimately the game fell in the wrong column for Deerfield, it was a strong match, effort, and overall performance. The Captains named Lila DeLuca as the All Heart Player of the game for her tireless efforts on D, consistent positivity, and multiple caused turnovers within the day’s contest.
