NMH got on the board first, but Deerfield responded quickly, as Maddie Benello ‘22 took advantage of an open lane to score the first goal for the Big Green. From there the team found their rhythm. Emma Gurnell ‘22 and Annabelle Brennan ‘23 worked hard through the midfield, winning crucial draws and ground balls, and first years Sophia Sotirhos and Greta Trapp both scored hat tricks on the way to the 15-2 victory.
