The JV road warriors quickly transitioned from classes to the their second home, the “Florida van,” to travel to the terrific Keney Park municipal golf course, a 1927 gem of a layout that has been recently restored to its former glory. Windy conditions and undulating fast greens made for a challenging round, as did the strong Loomis team, which defeated the JV team 215 to 237. Will Hill shot the low round for Deerfield, a 44. We look longingly to our first home match on May 14, but until then, the road beckons, with away matches at Williston, Kingswood Oxford, and Choate.
