Deerfield completed the doubleheader of Exeter by a score of 4-2. The pitching combination of Ryan McHugh, Sam Chutkow and Gavin Rigney held Exeter to just 5 hits. Exeter scored 3 runs in the 7th inning but was unable to tie the game after a relay from left field to 2nd base got the game clinching 3rd out. Gavin Rigney and Sam Chutkow each had 2 RBI on 2 out hits in the 4th and 5th innings respectively. Geoffrey Jamiel was 2-3 and scored a run and Ryan McHugh was 2-4 and scored 2 runs.
