Deerfield bounced back and won game 2 of the Saturday double header 8-5. Sam Chutkow led the way at the plate going 4-4 with 3 RBI and 2 R. In total Deerfield had 14 hits. Tynan Creagh had 2 RBI, scored a run and had a stolen base. Chutkow also started the game and pitched effectively through 3 1/3 innings. Gavin Rigney came in and pitched the rest of the game and was very solid in his first varsity appearance on the mound. Rigney allowed just 4 hits and 3 ER and picked up the save.
