Deerfield finally had a chance to swim at home completing a double dual meet against Bement and Northfield Mount Herman. The team jumped out to a lead with Emily Feng, Tony He, Miu Yatsuka, and Max Wang winning the 200 Medley Relay. Abby Tang swam to a second place in the 200 Free and a win in the 100 Backstroke. Yatsuka was second in the 100 Individual Medley. Wang followed with a blistering win in the 50 free and a second place finish in the 500 Free. Toler Poole dove to a second place finish. Feng was second in the 50 Butterfly and the team of He, Yatsuka, Feng and Tatum Lowe won the 200 Free Relay. Tony He later took the 100 Breaststroke and Sophia Knoblock, Isabelle Schwartz, Tang, and Wang came from behind to win the final 400 Free Relay. Overall it was a strong meet for the Deerfield squad. Deerfield heads to Eaglebrook on Saturday for the Nick Whyte Invitational.
