Still looking to play three periods of high intensity hockey, Deerfield Girls Varsity Hockey dropped a tough one at home on Saturday afternoon. We really didn’t start to compete at a high level until the third period, and didn’t have enough time to claw back from a two goal deficit. Sage Piekarski ‘23 got the goal off of assists from CC Deslauriers ‘23 and Sara Ito-Bagshaw ‘22. Deslauriers, playing in her first game of the season due to injury, earned the hard hat for working hard and moving the puck well in all three zones.
