Deerfield JV Girls won 38-19 against Westminster at home today. We are working on implementing our plays and learning to work as a team on the court. We played the whole team today – all four strings and displayed a strong team effort. Eleanor duPont ’26 was high scorer dropping in 6 buckets – 3 in the third quarter and 1 in each of the other quarters. Ellie Schiller ’25, Fiona Van Nuys ’25, Izzy Ramirez ’25, and Daisy Rolland ’26 each dropped multiple buckets. Adaugo Nwaokoro ’24, and Arabella Nevab ’26 also made it through the hoop. Sally Rolland ’23, Jasmine Irizarry ’23, and Giorgia Santore ’24 showed some speed and suave ball handling, sending in feeds and assisting in plays. We are off to NH this Saturday to face off against St. Paul’s.
