The boys traveled to Hartwick, Massachusetts yesterday to play in a rare Monday night game against Eagle Hill School. We jumped out to an early lead 7 – 0 with some solid defense and never looked back. We led at the half 28 – 7 and finished the game 53 – 18. Our starting group, Justin Ahn, Reed Ferguson, Ephraim Tutu (all ‘24) along with Tucker Gongaware and Tyler Long (both ‘26), set the example on both sides of the floor – playing good help defense, rebounding well and moving the ball on offense to get good shots. Everyone got good minutes out on the floor with 9 of our 12 players scoring. Victor Kibuuka ‘26 led all scorers and rebounders with 11 points and 7 rebounds. He was followed in scoring by Ephraim with 11. Justin and Ishaan Myrtle ‘25 both kicked in a couple of three pointers to finish with 6 points each. Tai Feng ‘26 narrowly missed getting a three as well, just barely stepping on the line for a long two. Important contributions were made by Jesse Gachago ‘26, Tucker Gongaware ‘26, Reed and Tyler who worked together to control the paint. Arvin Mou, Luka Kokosadze, John Mandiamy (all ‘25) and Tai all played solid team defense and really moved the ball well on offense, particularly in the second half. We are happy to take a win and some positive momentum into the winter break!
