The Doors defeated the Rhinos in Saturday’s contest 3-0 (25-9, 25-20, 25-21). The team celebrated seniors Koko Akpan, Alex Kelsey, Megan Ng, Simisola Lawal, Alessia Root, Lily Lin, and Lucy Guo. Root, Akpan, and Ng all served aces en route to an emphatic victory in the first set. Sophomores Georgia Ball and Alice Wu each had impressive, hard-hit kills from the outside hitter position. Olivia Smit ’25 and Simisola Lawal ’23 each had block kills at the middle hitter position, and libero Lucy Guo played excellent defense throughout the match. The Doors look to close out the season with three away matches next week.
