Trailing 21-6 in the middle of the 3rd quarter, Deerfield scored 2 touchdowns and a 2 point conversion to tie the game 21-21 with just under 10 minutes left in the game. The score would remain tied 21-21 at the end of regulation. After a scoreless 1st OT, Deerfield scored the go ahead touchdown on the first play of the 2nd OT on a 30 yard pass from QB Cole Geer to WR Tristan Ward. Suffield scored on their 2nd possession as well, but the Deerfield defense stopped the Suffield 2 point conversion and held on for the 28-27 win. WR Tristan Ward had a monster game, catching 12 balls for 276 yards and 2 TDs. QB Cole Geer threw for over 400 yards. DB Ty Curran had 2 INT and DE Chigozie Oge Evans had 2 sacks for the Big Green defense.
