On a perfect New England fall day, a diminished team of Deerfield runners travelled to Exeter, NH to race against Phillips Exeter, Phillips Andover, NMH, and Montrose School. Fighting illnesses and the PSAT, just fourteen harriers raced through slightly soggy conditions to come fourth out of the five teams. Impressively, despite the tough conditions, Jennifer Luiru ’25 and Valerie Trevino ’26 both came away with season best times, and Alexis Miller ’24 matched her season best. The team will now take some time to recover and train before we meet NMH once again on November 5th.
