The Deerfield Doors played hard at home against their Williston opponents on Wednesday, winning the game 58-11.
In the first half of the game, Deerfield did a nice job of working together, making passes, and getting rebounds. The defence worked hard to halt the progress being made by Williston, and were able to quickly get the ball back down to the home basket. Several turnovers and fast breaks, along with an amazing shot by Bonnie Pang ‘24, helped Deerfield to being 20 points ahead at the half. Deerfield continued to play well in the second half, putting up a strong showing at both ends of the court. Cori Scagel ’25, Giorgia Santore ’24, and Fiona Van Nice ’25 were the top scorers of the game, all assisted by strong performances from all of their teammates.
