The Girls headed down to Westminster on Saturday to face off against Westy and the #2 ranked Sacred Heart. The first match against Sacred Heart proved to be an especially close one and both squads played exceptional squash. Sacred Heart’s depth on the ladder was clear and they played skilled squash but Anna/Devon/Willow were able to place shots and run hard to victories. Maeve played exceptional squash at the #1 position but faced an extraordinary young player who controlled the pace of play. Sacred Heart emerged with a well-earned 4-3 match, it was a great matchup. The squad headed back on to court a few minutes later to face the Martlets of Westminster. Our players were warm from the SH match and it went well with great sportsmanship all around.
