Deerfield lost to a good hitting Loomis team 13-5. Loomis connected on 3 home runs and had 15 hits in the game. 2B Kevin Griffin was 1-2 with 2 RBI and got on base 3 times. CF Tyler Mudd and C Trey Bourque both scored 2 runs each. Mudd also picked up a stolen base. RP Pete Shea saw his first varsity action and struck out 3 batters in the 1 inning he pitched.
