What a lovely week for running! The girls cross country team made the most of the fall weather this week, travelling to the beautiful covered bridge along the Green River Road in Vermont for our long run, admiring the scenery along the drive and then enjoying the golden light upon the river during the run itself. Our big workout this week was an ascending and descending ladder on the track, which the girls handled easily. After a couple of gentle recovery runs, we ended the week with a meet against Choate and Loomis at Loomis. The team battled surprisingly hot and humid conditions, and although we were not victorious, the girls demonstrated great resilience and grit throughout. We are looking forward to being back on our home course this weekend!
