The JV girls secured a dominant 6-0 sweep of Miss Porter’s on Wednesday. Each player won her match 3-0, even coming close to securing bagels on a few occasions, in a show of late-season strength. At numbers 1 through 6, Christina Li ’20, Grace Russell ’21, Isha Rao ’22, Esme Benjamin ’20, Janis Chen ’20, and Lilly Berry ’21 showed the power of Deerfield’s top JV players to dominate the competition. The team needed a win in anticipation of a difficult match against Andover away on Saturday.
