Deerfield girls hockey kicked off the 2020 portion of the season with a long trek to Millbrook on Wednesday afternoon. Ultimately, we skated away with a 1-0 win, outshooting then hosts 35-17, with Kailen Coelho ‘20 scoring the lone goal off of a rebound from a Sydney Cresta ‘20 shot. Emma Tennant ‘21 earned the hard hat, and her first DA shut out, with a strong performance in net. Many thanks to Mrs. Howe for the sandwiches, snacks, drinks, fruit and cookies after the game! Next up is a weekend series at home against St. Paul’s and Lawrenceville.
