Even after a hectic arrival and a shortened warmup, we managed to have a number of opportunities early in the game. However, we were not able to capitalize on our chances. Thanks to a solid defensive effort all day by Charlie Sinnott, Jack O’Neil, Ben King, Sultan Lawal, and Duwon Lee, we were able to hold Kent to one shot. In the second half, we put pressure on their defense, but with 8 minutes left in the game, we still had not finished any of our opportunities. After a few late game subs, we finally broke through. Tino Munochiveyi illustrated an incredible individual effort by staying on his feet after a tough tackle and with little angle was able to squeeze the ball into the goal. The bench erupted. Not 3 minutes later, Tino scored again on a beautiful header from a cross sent in by Connor Olsen. It was another great win for the team.
