Deerfield Varsity Girls Tennis Defeats Choate 7-2

Deerfield’s varsity squad added another win to their undefeated 2019 campaign on Saturday. A special thank you goes out to Bob Howe who stood in and coached the team for this home contest.

The tightest match of the day was at first doubles. Manning and Waterfall battled back from an early deficit to force a tiebreaker, but ultimately Choate prevailed.

The team will return to the courts on Wednesday with visiting Longmeadow High School to try to finish the season undefeated!
