Deerfield took on Loomis this past Wednesday at home. From the first whistle, play changed hands often and both teams had a hard time starting an attack. Emily Henderson ’19 netted the first goal to get DA on the board. The Pelicans followed not long after to keep the score close. The Big Green had a hard time getting a rhythm underway, but bit by bit, they stretched their lead. At the final whistle, DA led by 8 goals, besting Loomis 11-3. Shout out goes to Erin Howe ’20 for driving the attack and helping us connect in transition. DA will hit the road to Lakeville, CT to face Hotchkiss on Saturday.
