Deerfield came back home to face Bement on Tuesday. Under stormy skies, the Big Green stayed stride for stride with a quick and fierce Bement team. The play went back and forth with both teams winning draws and making transitions down the field, keeping the score fairly even throughout the first half. After half time, DA’s attack took off as they made some beautiful connecting passes and ran successful plays. The game ended with a score of 13-5 with Deerfield on top. Shout outs go to Caroline Hoff ’22 for her face-guarding in the midfield, Mira Binzen ’20 for her tough, effective work at center, and Ellie Schilling ’21 for her tight defense.
