The boys JV Lacrosse team traveled to Meriden, NH on Wednesday to take on the Cardigan Mountain School in a game at a neutral site. The first half of the game was a close contest with both teams swapping goals for a 2-2 tie at the half. In the second half Deerfield found itself in penalty trouble with six trips to the penalty box allowing Cardigan Mountain to capitalize on their extra man offensive advantage, final score was 8-5 in favor of Cardigan. Leading the scoring for Deerfield was Keith Davenport with 2 goals, and one goal each for Eamon Doheny, Will Dale and Max Wuchenich. Deerfield looks to rebound on Saturday with a trip to Lakeville, CT to face-off against Hotchkiss.
