Deerfield boys JV lacrosse team traveled to Lakeville, CT on Wednesday to take on the Salisbury School at Hotchkiss’ Sprole Field due to unplayable conditions in Salisbury. The Knights scored quickly to take a 1-0 lead within the first minute of the game but then the Deerfield defense went to work and held them to 2 more goals for the entire game. Pat McKee, Jack Lund, Elliott Flagg and Francis Gannon along with goalie Will Savage anchored a strong Deerfield effort. Matt Fierro and John O’Loughlin provided LSM support for Deerfield who never looked back in this contest. Offensively Will Dale had another great outing for DA pumping in 3 goals, followed by Kyle Jarosz and Robert Sawyers each with 2 goals. Single goals from Matt Miron, Max Wuchenich and Keith Davenport helped Deerfield cruise to a 10-3 victory. Luke Terry dominated again at the face off spot winning 10 battles on the day. Deerfield plays it’s final game of the 2019 season Saturday at home taking on Exeter.
