Deerfield’s JV boys lacrosse team continued with their 3rd of 4 away games in a row on Saturday, traveling to the hills of Western Connecticut to take on The Hotchkiss School. Deerfield started out slow and sluggish in the first period scoring only one goal for a 1-0 lead at the end of the quarter. Finding their rhythm in the second quarter Deerfield started clicking and never looked back in this contest. Another strong performance was turned in by goalie Will Savage who shut down the Hotchkiss offense, the Big Green cruised to a 9-2 victory. Scoring for Deerfield were Justin Prete, Drew Wierzbicki, Will Dale, Kyle Patten, Pat McKee, Max Wuchenich, Keith Davenport and Ollie Pink. Luke Terry again dominated at the face-off “X” for Deerfield, winning 9 draws.
