Deerfield Defeats Suffield Academy on the Road

Deerfield’s varsity squad made the quick journey down to Suffield for an afternoon of tennis on Wednesday. The weather was absolutely perfect for this match. Deerfield’s players came out swinging and played well. The final result of 7-0 for Deerfield was reflective of steady, smart play.

Congratulations to Tess Mannix, Camille Glatt, Sasha Hickley, and Devon L’Esperance for earning their first career varsity wins. Each of these players started at doubles against Suffield and delivered decisive wins.

The team improves to 4-0 and looks to continue its winning ways on Saturday at home versus Williston at 1:00pm.
