Deerfield took control early and never relented against local valley rival, Northfield Mount Hermon. The Big Green executed well and put together a strong, full team performance. Strengths included defensive interceptions, a first-half shut-out by our goalkeeper, and selfless offensive creativity. The Captains named Ainsley Hatch as the Play Tough player of the game. Ainsley contributed significantly to both the midfield and offensive efforts and demonstrated a great deal of hustle all over the field.
