The JV Girls team traveled to Andover on Wednesday to take on the Big Blue on a very cold and windy day. As the conditions made connecting passes hard for both teams, the biggest battle became ground balls. Our midfielders fought hard for control, boxing out strong and coming up with the ball more often than not. Lisa Ito-Bagshaw was especially fierce in these battles for the Big Green, ultimately taking one all the way to goal! At the half, DA led by one. In the remaining 25 minutes, Deerfield found success penetrating a solid Andover defense with quick passes, putting in a few more goals for a final score of 7-4. Well done on the chilliest day of the season! DA hits the road this week to take on NMH and Taft.
