Deerfield was back in action on Friday, April 12th, and hosted the MacDuffie School in non-league action. The Big Green had a 7 run 4th inning to break open a very competitive game. Deerfield received tremendous pitching performances from Matt Gardner (4 IP 1 ER) and Tyler Mudd (2 IP O ER) in the game. Tyler Mudd and Dylan Skov led the 6 hit attack with two hits each, Tyler and David Thomas also scored 2 runs apiece. Deerfield is now 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the league.
