Deerfield won their first bowl game since 2002 beating previously undefeated Milton Academy 26-23. After starting the season 1-2, Deerfield won their last 7 games of the season to finish with an 8-2 record. RB Griffin Schutz was outstanding for the Big Green, carrying the ball 33 times for 166 yards and scored a season high 4 touchdowns (3 rushing, 1 receiving). WR Noah Jones had his best game of the season, catching 7 balls for 115 yards. On defense, DE Marcus Romboli had 2 sacks and was a force all day on the defensive line. All 4 LBs made big tackles and CB Porter Hollen sealed the game late in the 4th quarter with an interception in the red zone.
