Deerfield thirds soccer had another excellent showing against Suffield Academy on this misty but warm Wednesday. The Big Green kicked off the match with an early goal from Valentina Williamson. Suffield fired back quickly for their first goal of the game. Deerfield’s defense held them off for the remainder of play, letting no other shots in the net. Before the end of the first half, Williamson scored her second goal, and Alex Gold scored a third goal for Deerfield. Both teams played a steady second half of play with no goals scored. Keep at it, Deerfield!
