Thirds girls soccer took home another victory on this gorgeous, leafy Saturday at Loomis. Deerfield kicked off the first half with a stellar goal from Jasmine Decossard, assisted by Valentina Williamson. Next, Caroline Ghirardini scored two goals in a row, with the second assisted by Alex Gold. In the second half, Williamson scored the game’s fourth and final goal. Our defense once again formed an impenetrable wall, and Loomis couldn’t get any clear shots on net the whole game. The Deerfield squad was down five players on this fine Saturday, but they played their hearts out and kept energy levels high until the ref blew the final whistle. Yay Deerfield!
