Deerfield girls lost a close game against The Taft School on Wednesday at home. Though DA went into halftime up by 2 points, they let the lead slip slowing away over the course of the second half. Though they played hard, they were plagued by turnovers and missed key shots in the final minutes. Kayla Robinson was a dynamic force for Taft with 16 points and 18 rebounds, while Eliza Ford added 12. For Deerfield, Emma Reavis led the way offensively with 15 points and 7 assists. Claire Cummings worked hard under the rim to add 10 points and 13 rebounds. Freshman Grace Arcoleo went 3 for 5 from behind the arc and contributed 9 points in the effort.
