Deerfield fell to Worcester in 11 innings by a score of 5-3. The score was tied 2-2 until the top of the 6^thinning when Worcester scored to go ahead 3-2. Deerfield responded by scoring a run in the bottom half of the inning to tie the score at 3-3. Griffin McDowell came in relief of Jared Pantalony in the 7^th inning and pitched scoreless baseball for 4 innings. Jared started the game and was his usual steady self, allowing 5 hits and 2 ER. At the plate, Javy Irizarry had 3 hits and Mike Bevino had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Deerfield still remains right in the thick of the playoff hunt with 3 league games to go.
