Deerfield ended a 2 game league skid by beating NMH 4-3. With the win, Deerfield improves to a record of 6-4 in league play and currently sits alone at 2nd place with 2 games left this Saturday against 1st place Phillips Andover. Deerfield beat NMH for the 2nd time this year, this time on the back of pitcher David Thomas. David pitched a complete game, striking out 7 batters and allowing 7 hits and 0 ER. Deerfield took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the 4th inning and was able to hold on the rest of the way. Mike Bevino finished the game 3-3 with an RBI and Chris Camelio was 1-1 with 2 BB and 1 R. Camelio ended the game with a leaping catch on a line drive to shortstop and threw to first to complete the double play.
