Deerfield dropped the first game of the double header against Philips Exeter by a score of 19-4. The Exeter bats were strong all game; they accounted for 18 hits and 4 home runs. Matt Gardner hit a home run and a double for Deerfield. Nick Solberg got his first two at bats of the season and connected for his first hit of the season. Cam Snow got on base all three times he was up.
