Deerfield bounced back in the second game of the double header to beat Philips Exeter 7-3. The win puts Deerfield at 5-2 and 2nd place in the Central New England Baseball Conference. Jared Pantalony won his 4th consecutive start of the season, going 5 and 1/3 innings allowing only 5 hits and 1 ER. David Thomas came in and pitched the final 1 2/3 innings and struck out 3 batters. The bats were a little louder for DA in the 2nd game. They took a 2-0 lead after the 2nd inning and never looked back. Jeff MacDonald led the way going 3-4 with 3 RBI. His biggest hot was a 2 out, 2 run single in the top of the 7th inning. Mike Bevino went 2-4 with a double, 2 runs, and 1 SB. Cam Snow was 1-2 with 2 BB, 2 R, and 1 SB.
