We ran into a buzzsaw late on Saturday afternoon; in a rematch with Suffield’s JV, we were missing our #1 and #3 players while they swung down a varsity player. Although the boys in green fought hard (after going down a quick 3-0), we came up just short, with Elliot falling in 5 to clinch the match for the Tigers. Shoutouts to Connor for his victory over the aforementioned varsity player, Ryan and Johnny for their calm, levelheaded wins, Adrian for a truly inspiring effort at #2, and the exhibition squad for giving up only a single game. Although it is disappointing to have lost our undefeated record, we look forward to finishing strong in our remaining five matches.
