The girls thirds squash season started with a flourish on Saturday afternoon. Down two starters, the team rallied to put together a team win in the face of stiff competition. The match came down to the final point, of the fifth game in the last remaining match. Lizzie Eudy battled hard to take the victory and secure the win for Deerfield. This was the closest match the team has played in years, featuring more four and five game matches than we’ve seen on any given day in years. The team will return to the courts for a contest with Suffield after the winter break on January ninth.
