The girls JV hockey team took on Williston in the new Class of 1993 Rink on Saturday, December 8th. Only the second game of the season, the girls played very well and adjusted quickly against a talented Williston team. Both teams generated many scoring opportunities. The line of Bailey Cheetham, Hannah Roche, and Meredith Heaney was able to get pucks deep and force the very talented Williston goalie to make tough saves as the Big Green out shot Williston. Juliet Perry was able to get one by the net minder by skating it all the way up the ice and wristing one in to make the score 1-0 in the first. Ellie Shilling and Regan Hoar both played a fantastic game by hard back checking and earning the puck back for DA to create offense. Despite a large amount of offensive pressure in the third by DA, the game finished in a 5-5 tie. Go Big Green!
