Girls thirds basketball brought home their second consecutive win after a thrilling victory at Miss Hall’s School in Pittsfield, MA. After scoring the first basket of the game, The Big Green led throughout the first half, going into halftime with a narrow 9-8 lead. The Hurricanes came out of halftime on fire, making a 10-2 run to put them up 11-19. Deerfield’s girls kept their poise and steadily clawed their way back to within two points, finally putting the game away on an “and one” put-back and a made free throw with just twenty seconds remaining in the game. The Big Green return to action on Wednesday with a 4:00 contest against Bement.
