This Saturday, the Boys JV Basketball team traveled to Westminster for an away game, and we came away with a lopsided win. Deerfield led from the opening tip and finished the first half with 24 points while Westy had 11. In the second half, we expanded our lead and finished the game with a final score of 55 to 18. Our MVPs of this game are Lorenzo Biondo, George Fauver, and Brando Rena who scored 7, 8, and 10 points, respectively. Lorenzo finished the game with 1 steal and 2 rebounds, while Brando and George each grabbed 4 and 3 rebounds, respectively. This was a great game and the outcome was the result of our players’ hard work. We play against Suffield at home on next Tuesday, and hope everyone can come out to the game!
