This Tuesday, the Boys JV Basketball team played Suffield Academy for our first home game of the season. It was a close game where on multiple occasions, Suffield closed the gap to 1 point. Deerfield fought off Suffield and never gave them a chance to catch up and take the lead. In the end, we won the game with a final score of 52 to 47. Our MVPs for this game are Nasir Barnes, Tommy Leimkuhler, and Cam Taylor. A special shoutout goes to Nasir for scoring 16 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Cam scored 10 points including two clutch baskets down the stretch while Tommy scored 8 points and earned 4 steals. After the Winter break, we will have an away game against Williston, and we are looking forward to claiming another victory.
