In back-and-forth game, the Big Green was able to breakthrough near the end of the first on a ball played wide to Jaxon Palmer ’21 who drove at the end line and served a ball into the box to teammate Ruby Chase ’21 who buried the ball into the back of the net. The second half continued with back-and-forth play, each team creating some scoring opportunities of their own. The Big Green’s defense of Mae Emerson ’19, Nicole DaCosta ’19, Haley Sundstrom ’21, Emma Visnapuu ‘ 21, Jill O’Connor ’19, and goalkeeper Valerie Hetherington ’19 held strong keeping the Wildcats off the board to earn their second shutout of the season.
