On Saturday, the DA Girls Reserves traveled to Westminster to play the Martlets on their home turf. It was Parent’s Weekend in Simsbury, Connecticut, and the Martlets were revved up to play in front of a large home crowd. DA played hard and worked well as a team to get the ball close to the Westy net, but had a hard time finishing. Anne Duong, in her goalie debut, did a good job defending the DA net, but a backline breakdown let the Martlets in, giving them a 1-0 win.
