There were three wonderful things to take away from our game today. Firstly, we controlled the possession game all day, particularly in the second half. We were consistently stringing together 4 or 5 passes, and often times the team only used two touches to move the ball. Secondly, we competed hard today. Eaglebrook was a very skilled team, but we worked hard to win the 50/50 balls, especially in the air. Lastly, we finished better than we have in the previous games. One moment stands out—De’Andre Samuels scored a goal on his first touch as a striker today.
