Deerfield dropped to 5-2 after a 21-17 loss against Phillips Andover Academy. Kicker Matt Shea ’19 connected on a 25 yard field goal with a little over a minute left in the game to put Deerfield ahead 17-14. Andover scored with 20 seconds left in the game to secure the win. Running back Griffin Schutz ’21 and wide receiver Kyle MacGillis ’19 scored for the Big Green. Safety Luke Terry ’20 and cornerback Joe Dowling ’21 each had interceptions. Deerfield hosts Cheshire Academy next Saturday in the final home game of the year.
