Deerfield played Worcester today at home. The game, which was the second to last regulation home game for DA this season, showcased the talents of our senior group. Maggie Roche ’19, Mimi Pastor ’19, Sharon Kereke ’19, Juliet Perry ’19, Meredith Heaney ’19, Emily Henderson ’19, Ali Fujiyoshi ’19, Brigid Stoll ’19 and Caroline Skillman ’19 all made positive contributions on the field and helped propel the team to a commanding 8 – 2 win. Worcester scored first, but Deerfield rallied and put the pressure right back on their opponent. Lucy Miquel ’20 scored her first goal of the season, a beautiful lifted ball to the corner of the cage. Next up, Deerfield plays Andover on their home turf on Saturday night.
